Welcome to Kaizen Brain Center
Kaizen: the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement through constant learning.
That’s how we got our name, it’s our core philosophy at Kaizen Brain Center. We believe constant learning will improve the lives of our patients.
We are a collaborative, interdisciplinary, neuroscience-based, data-driven brain center focused on making a positive impact in the lives of our patients through our vision and innovative approach to improving brain health.
Kaizen Brain Center was established to help patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and concussion who weren’t receiving proper medical care and were at risk of developing progressive neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or Parkinson’s disease. Over the years, we’ve grown and now treat many more brain-related neurological and psychological conditions.
The Kaizen Model addresses each patient’s brain care by:
- Accurately diagnosing and treating conditions using cutting-edge diagnostics and treatments.
- Proactively monitoring patients to identify early stages of Alzheimer’s disease/CTE.
Through the Kaizen Model monitoring protocol, our caregivers have identified patients with early Alzheimer’s disease — including veterans in their 40s who had multiple concussions and abnormal protein deposits in their brains. This enabled these patients to participate in clinical trials and receive a disease-modifying drug that removes the abnormal protein from their brain and can change the trajectory of the disease if possible.
Seeing patients like these and so many others benefit from the care we provide is an emotional moment for our caregivers and the reason Kaizen Brain Center was created — to help patients who had nowhere to turn.
At Kaizen Brain Center, we believe in total wellness which includes brain, mind and physical health. We believe brain health is not mental health alone and consider mental health to be an integral part of brain health.
Kaizen Brain Center is guided by the following approach to patient care:
- Integrate the principles of neurology and psychiatry (neuropsychiatry) to solve complex brain conditions in an interdisciplinary manner.
- Monitor brain conditions longitudinally to improve outcomes by incorporating cutting-edge digital health technologies.
- Provide a concierge-level patient care experience.
