Let’s beat depression.

ACHIEVE RAPID RELIEF WITH KAIZEN BRAIN
CENTER’S NEW ACCELERATED TMS PROGRAM

A 5-Day Treatment for Depression

RAPID REMISSION FROM DEPRESSION
WITH ACCELERATED TMS THERAPY

Kaizen Brain Center’s Accelerated TMS Program is an accelerated form of TMS. Traditional TMS treatment typically takes 6-7 weeks, whereas Kaizen Brain Center’s Accelerated TMS program dramatically reduces the treatment period to just 5 days. A core feature of this program is the precise targeting of the depression area, identified using fMRI, and stimulation of that area with high doses of magnetic stimulation in an accelerated manner.

Dr. Shan Siddiqi, neuropsychiatrist and Director of Psychiatric Neuromodulation Research at Harvard Medical School, is one of the world’s experts in developing this form of personalized targeting using fMRI – a form of imaging that looks at changes in blood flow, to identify the precise location connected to the depression area. Armed with a map of a patient’s unique brain circuits, Kaizen Brain Center can now target TMS stimulation to precise coordinates within the brain and curate a highly personalized treatment plan.

From this neural network mapping example, we can conclude the optimal depression stimulation area is shown in purple.

Dr. Siddiqi and Dr. Mohammed Ahmed, Neuropsychiatrist and Kaizen Medical Director, worked together back in 2018 to form Kaizen Brain Center, the first clinical center in the nation to implement the new neural network mapping technology incorporating an individual’s clinical history and interdisciplinary, neuroscience-based approach. Since then, Kaizen Brain Center has performed thousands of treatments using this personalized approach.

In a recent study conducted and published by Stanford, high doses of magnetic brain stimulation, given on an accelerated timeline and individually targeted, caused remission in nearly 80% of trial participants with severe depression. This groundbreaking experimental depression treatment is known as Stanford Accelerated Intelligent Neuromodulation Therapy or simply Stanford Neuromodulation Therapy (SAINT/SNT).

The promise of the Stanford-led study of the SAINT/SNT protocol has created a buzz both nationally and internationally. Kaizen’s Accelerated TMS program is modelled closely to SAINT/SNT with a holistic approach to cognitive health. Kaizen Brain Center’s TMS treatment is complemented with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Brain Training, and other integrative therapies including Lifestyle Modification with diet, exercise, and sleep enhancements.
